An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Di Meo in the 8th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Martin Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Grimaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Emilio Grimaldi got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Severino Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kroton F.C. and the FC Mims players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severino Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Grimaldi in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FC Mims's Emilio Grimaldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Eriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Kroton F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristiano Chitarroni hit a great ball. Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Grimaldi in the 27th minute of play. Attilio Fiordelisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Messias in the 30th minute of play. FC Mims's Fabio Andreola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Laerte Porto, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Laerte Porto got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Patrick Vieira. A collision led to Kroton F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Laerte Porto hit a great ball. Emiliano Bonelli hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Grimaldi in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Grimaldi made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match FC Mims got a corner. Kroton F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fedele Carnevale ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 54th minute Emilio Grimaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Kroton F.C.'s Patrick Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attilio Fiordelisi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 64th minute Patrick Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kroton F.C. from getting a goal against them. Attilio Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Vieira in the 69th minute of the match. Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kroton F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson got control of the ball when Emilio Grimaldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elia Panella's late challenge caught a Kroton F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elia Panella helped the player get up and apologised. Elia Panella hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kroton F.C. had won after a very even match.
