After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Paolo Garro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdieri's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Garro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Conte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Conte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Paolo Garro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Davide Conte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes Alba FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giuliano Garro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Giuliano Garro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Davide Conte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Valdieri booed when Alba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Casale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Garro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Ermanno Casale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alba FC's goalkeeper Davide Conte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Valdieri got a corner. Alba FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giuliano Garro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paolo Garro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 31st minute, Paolo Garro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valdieri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Paolo Garro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Alba FC's Davide Conte. Davide Conte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Alba FC defense, Paolo Garro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Conte. The Alba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Conte should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Garro to strike the kick off in the second half. Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Garro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes, Paolo Garro made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alba FC's Davide Conte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermanno Casale was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th minute Paolo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Conte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Garro. After 66 minutes of play, Valdieri's Paolo Garro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Conte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Davide Conte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Garro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Garro in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Conte saved Alba FC from getting behind. A hard shot 76 in the game by Enrico De Grandis from a close distance when the talented Franco Garro managed to make a qualified save. Valdieri's players were relieved. Gianpaolo Basso made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and King Chiellini immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Alba FC's Federico Di Iorio got a free kick in the 80th minute. Paolo Garro scored 7-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davide Conte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Davide Conte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Garro's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, one of Alba FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alba FC. In the 92nd minute Paolo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Conte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Alba FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Banana. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Garro in the 96th minute of play. Valdieri were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alba FC for a fine match.
