The Rathmore Lime Tree fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Rathmore Lime Tree's Toufik Loir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Le Stade Briochin UC's Christopher Palumbo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hugo Law's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alix Geoffray was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Alix Geoffray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Verrecchia, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farid Verrecchia in the 29th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Alix Geoffray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alix Geoffray stood somewhat misplaced when Jaime Tabor came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Martial Hess hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Le Stade Briochin UC's Farid Verrecchia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Jaime Tabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Alix Geoffray when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Tabor was the one to do the kick off. Alix Geoffray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clovis Janvier in the 60th minute of the match. Nolan Roux scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alix Geoffray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christopher Palumbo made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dimitri Nedellec. Christopher Palumbo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Farid Verrecchia got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-1. 86 minutes into the match. Alix Geoffray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clovis Janvier in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Farid Verrecchia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters rose to their feet, but Farid Verrecchia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alix Geoffray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitri Nedellec took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alix Geoffray. Alix Geoffray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Le Stade Briochin UC fully deserved thier win.
