SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Birmes in the 43rd minute of play. Faudel Dagorne made a great header on Cosa nostra Lyon's corner, it was just that SILMONT's Qiu Zhi managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Uwe Birmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SILMONT from getting a goal against them. Kryspin Cupial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Yves Bayle in the 73rd minute of play. With his leg Qiu Zhi managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Cosa nostra Lyon's Junior Quintana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, SILMONT's Qiu Zhi got control of the ball when Junior Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kryspin Cupial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Yves Bayle, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Qiu Zhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erenay Uçuk in the 86th minute. SILMONT made a substitution. Xiao Zhen Feng replaced Martial Haas. Cosa nostra Lyon made a substitution.
