The NAGANO F.C fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when NAGANO F.C's Jari Alenius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as NAGANO F.C's Jari Alenius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stasio Serwach. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. After 20 minutes of play, Hogwarts's Csaba Tar made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vellito Alguerdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vellito Alguerdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csaba Tar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Csaba Tar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vellito Alguerdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Hogwarts's Stasio Serwach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Hogwarts from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes Hogwarts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ariel Ortega who took care of the corner kick. NAGANO F.C's Ariel Ortega was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stasio Serwach in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jari Alenius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stasio Serwach having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goalkeeper Stasio Serwach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jari Alenius. With a little luck, Hogwarts's Stasio Serwach got control of the ball when Jari Alenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes Hogwarts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ariel Ortega who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Hogwarts getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Joel Sandell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Oces in the 47th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Vellito Alguerdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jari Alenius to make the kick off. Stasio Serwach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Alenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Jari Alenius made a precise shot to the right of Stasio Serwach. Hogwarts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 58th minute, Jari Alenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Hogwarts defense, Gabriel Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stasio Serwach. The Hogwarts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stasio Serwach should have stopped the shot. When NAGANO F.C's Jari Alenius in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hogwarts's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, NAGANO F.C's 郝德坤 got a free kick in the 66th minute. Anselmo Genovese hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Erk Hong came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the NAGANO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erk Hong couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Jari Alenius came free, but Stasio Serwach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hogwarts's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ariel Ortega was slow to take the kick. During this time NAGANO F.C's players had a chance to rest. In the 82nd minute Jari Alenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Serwach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Jari Alenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Stasio Serwach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute of the match NAGANO F.C got a corner. Hogwarts's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Ortega ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ariel Ortega got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stasio Serwach quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jari Alenius in the 89th minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Stasio Serwach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hogwarts players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NAGANO F.C.
