In the 13th minute Brent-Jan Turpin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Brent-Jan Turpin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra. Candido Piedra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Binder in the 17th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Eterno Campeón's goalkeeper Ruslan Reichl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruslan Reichl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visen Allu in the 23rd minute of the match. If Brent-Jan Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Piedra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constancio Binder's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Visen Allu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruslan Reichl having to make a save. Ruslan Reichl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Visen Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Diego Renard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Reyes.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Visen Allu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Candido Piedra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constancio Binder's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the last second Candido Piedra throw himself and got hold of the ball when Constancio Binder in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Constancio Binder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constancio Binder in the 56th minute of play. David Petersson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Brent-Jan Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of El Eterno Campeón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Altermundi FC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Recai Taykurt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Eterno Campeón's Ruslan Reichl. 1-2. Altermundi FC's Sergiu Zgrăbunţa was substituted for Jude Hylton. Constancio Binder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Candido Piedra came out and tried to block the shot, but Constancio Binder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 77th minute. Altermundi FC made a substitution. Alexandro Cattalán replaced Justo Zubicueta. When Brent-Jan Turpin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the El Eterno Campeón fans jumped to their feet. El Eterno Campeón's Ruslan Reichl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Constantinescu in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, El Eterno Campeón's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Constantinescu came free, but Ruslan Reichl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
