Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukács Bolla in the 13th minute of play. Szombathely Squirrels were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after FC Corrado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bai Jun Chong took the corner. FC Corrado's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Izydor Kocieniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukács Bolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Szuper having to interfere. Izydor Kocieniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Tivadar Demeter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Izydor Kocieniewski was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. FC Corrado made a substitution. Szabolcs Havasi replaced Lukács Bolla. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jurand Rutkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Izydor Kocieniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Jian Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bai Jun Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lei Jian Xiong in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Izydor Kocieniewski saved FC Corrado from getting behind. Szombathely Squirrels's Tamás Szentesi was substituted for Tivadar Demeter. Izydor Kocieniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bai Jun Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
