Holger Vennerlund was a little too slow when Frank Rotili got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Erik Lundqvist fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnesta Oilers's protests and gave Erik Lundqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carloforte f.c. booed when Gnesta Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Jonas Smitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnesta Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. Holger Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Rotili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frank Rotili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Rotili in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Vennerlund saved Gnesta Oilers from getting behind. Erik Lundqvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gnesta Oilers! 66 minutes into the match, Armin Scotti notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund. Holger Vennerlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torbjörn Odeen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Armin Scotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Armin Scotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Rotili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Vennerlund having to interfere. Holger Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Bevilacqua, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 77 minutes, Camillo Orecchioni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Gnesta Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armin Scotti shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Rotili in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Frank Rotili cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Holger Vennerlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holger Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Rotili in the 100th minute of the match. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
