An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Collen in the 15th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KOO Tigers's Uğuralp Vasfi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xiao Yu Chao. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Montens in the 37th minute of play. Will Montens scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uğuralp Vasfi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

KOO Tigers's Namık Kemal Eker was substituted for Xiao Yu Chao. The wind increased when Robert Collen made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KOO Tigers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Namık Kemal Eker hit a great ball. 60 minutes in the game Olaf Kochowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alexander Höijer. In the 77thth minute of the game Dino Maquiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOO Tigers's Uğuralp Vasfi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Collen in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Robert Collen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOO Tigers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gündüz Engiay in the 82nd minute. With an all-out effort, Kickers United's Uğuralp Vasfi threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kenny Van Den Eynden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Collen in the 85th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Kenny Van Den Eynden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
