The supporters of La Bichineta booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Lode didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leif Opdal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Paez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Leopoldo Paskal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frode Tobiassen went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Leopoldo Paskal came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's Frode Tobiassen. But to his dismay, Frode Tobiassen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A hard shot 47 in the game by Severino Min from a close distance when the talented Leif Opdal managed to make a qualified save. Brufoss IL's players were relieved. 47 minutes into the game, Tom Utheim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Bichineta the free kick. After 47 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Tom Utheim. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 52nd minute, Uriel Atarrabi had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Frode Tobiassen charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frode Tobiassen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La Bichineta made a substitution. Fabricio Silban replaced Uriel Atarrabi. Frode Tobiassen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jakob Lode took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Paskal. Leopoldo Paskal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Leopoldo Paskal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frode Tobiassen went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, La Bichineta's Leopoldo Paskal got control of the ball when Frode Tobiassen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Jacobo Nofre got a free kick in the 65th minute. When August Bergsland came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Brufoss IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Bergsland couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Phelipe came free, but Leif Opdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Pio's late challenge caught a Brufoss IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Pio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frode Tobiassen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabricio Silban hit a great ball. Basilio Cugat's late challenge caught a Brufoss IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Cugat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Cugat to maneuver through the defense. Frode Tobiassen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Paskal made a huge save. Leif Opdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Severino Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Opdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Lode. In the 89th minute, Joaquin Lore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Jakob Lode nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Paskal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brufoss IL walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
