Fatih Özbay started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Fatih Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AIK FOTBOLL's attentive Alvin Bergfelt managed to snatch the ball when Barnaba Karanewski made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. David Ferran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Valenzuela in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Özbay in the 11th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AIK FOTBOLL's Sven-Oskar Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fatih Özbay in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Özbay in the 14th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvin Bergfelt's late challenge caught a FC WAWER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Andreasson should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd match minute, FC WAWER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Biraga to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Italia didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Blomkvist in the 45th minute of the match. If Fatih Özbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute Fatih Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Leif Harlén was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Leif Harlén. 55 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goal looked a bit too open when Rostyslav Leonenko came free, but Sven-Oskar Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC WAWER's supporters rose to their feet, but Rostyslav Leonenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Oskar Andreasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes of play, FC WAWER's Adam Zakrzewski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Johan Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fatih Özbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Andreasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Zakrzewski. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fatih Özbay in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Oskar Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Johan Gustavsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. FC WAWER made a substitution. Zenon Jandryca replaced Fatih Özbay. Johan Gustavsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, FC WAWER's Zenon Jandryca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Oskar Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a rather tough play, FC WAWER's Rostyslav Leonenko got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Zenon Jandryca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Oskar Andreasson. AIK FOTBOLL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zenon Jandryca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Sven-Oskar Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Jandryca in the 94th minute of the match. David Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
