The referee ignored Made in Paraguay's protests and gave Rafinha Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute of the match Javier Firmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincente Monzon skillfully saved the ball. In the 4th match minute, Made in Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerazan Tarano to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Igartua in the 11th minute of the match. Baltasar Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Igartua, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Baltasar Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celino Baños in the 14th minute of play. Made in Paraguay were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Leones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruy Igartua took the corner. The corner led Made in Paraguay's Mariano Oruña to fire away a dangerous shot which Baltasar Meder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Ruy Igartua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Baltasar Meder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy Igartua struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Baltasar Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Made in Paraguay. Jeremias Cisco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Baltasar Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseba Font in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Labiada to make the kick off. Ruy Igartua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Meder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Igartua came free, but Baltasar Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Javier Firmo got a free kick in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Leones FC's Baltasar Meder got control of the ball when Evelio Labiada tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Javier Firmo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincente Monzon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Ruy Igartua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Baltasar Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's Ruy Igartua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Meder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruy Igartua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Meder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Cisco in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincente Monzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Cisco in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincente Monzon saved Made in Paraguay from getting behind. Leones FC's Baltasar Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Igartua in the 87th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Ruy Igartua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Baltasar Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltasar Meder made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Evelio Labiada sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Jeremias Cisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vincente Monzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Made in Paraguay made a substitution. Xesus Isazi replaced Adriano Verdejo. Made in Paraguay were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
