Aírton Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Júlio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Izel in the 13th minute of the match. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Polat Aranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Júlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Izel in the 47th minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

If Luís Fabiano Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Nicolás Blandi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júlio Porto, passed just outside the right post. Gilberto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Izel got free with Júlio Porto in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes, Apolo Peto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Scaloneta and the Fúria Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Apolo Peto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelsinho Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Porfiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelsinho Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Fernandes came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Damian Eduino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio Porto. Damian Eduino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Gilberto Izel scored 0-8 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The La Scaloneta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
