A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arsenio Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. Haroldo Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Tate in the 15th minute of play. Mauro Rameriz made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jenipapo SC's Arsenio Gipuzkoa. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Zé Carlos Monteiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Emílio Terra might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Pilgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emílio Terra ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Pastor Ado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Pilgren. Jenipapo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Terra in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ado in the 31st minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Zé Carlos Monteiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Aníbal Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aníbal Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Jenipapo SC's Leopoldo Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Emílio Terra could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Karl Pilgren however easily saved by the left post. 53 minutes into the game, one of Jenipapo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leopoldo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Terra came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Pilgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 64th minute of play. Pastor Ado came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl Pilgren could save by the left post. Pastor Ado came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl Pilgren could save by the left post. Karl Pilgren made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Emílio Terra sent off a good shot on target. The Jenipapo SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Errecaborda AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Errecaborda AFC.
