In the 5th minute, Iustin Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that James Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petr Janošec was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, James Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Janošec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC Kopeto's Petr Janošec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kopeto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcin Pachucki was slow to take the kick. During this time A4p FC Gad's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cătălin Răduleț hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes FC Kopeto got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Sawbridge. The A4p FC Gad fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Kopeto's Petr Janošec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 26th minute of play. FC Kopeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vratislav Koželuh in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Vratislav Koželuh got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Glenn Fyfe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 31 minutes into the game, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Janošec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 34th minute, King Scorpio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Janošec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Petr Janošec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Batistuta in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Janošec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. King Scorpio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Petr Janošec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A4p FC Gad. After the first half A4p FC Gad were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Kopeto's Karel Hanousek was substituted for Mason Greenwood. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavin Sawbridge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Kopeto's Karel Hanousek got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Přemysl Pavka struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Glenn Fyfe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kopeto. A hard shot 58 in the game by James Batistuta from a close distance when the talented Petr Janošec managed to make a qualified save. FC Kopeto's players were relieved. In the 61st minute James Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Janošec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Janošec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 61st minute of the match. A4p FC Gad's Erasmo Damião was substituted for Amador Martxel. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. In the 73rd minute, Milouš Dvorský hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gică Busuioc came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Petr Janošec could save by the left post. In the 80th minute Gică Busuioc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Janošec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavius Cândroveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Petr Janošec made a huge save. Milouš Dvorský kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Flavius Cândroveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Gavin Sawbridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glenn Fyfe. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavin Sawbridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petr Janošec. That made the score 1-7 after 91 minutes of play. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Pașcanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. King Scorpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Petr Janošec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The A4p FC Gad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A4p FC Gad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
