After a rather tough play, Club Ibiza's Mambru Tarapiella got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes, Hooligans's Cristo Beti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rene Higuita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Club Ibiza made a substitution. Jose-Antonio Capon replaced Bruno Fonso. When Mambru Tarapiella came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Club Ibiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mambru Tarapiella couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Club Ibiza booed when Hooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hooligans's Serafin Tancredo got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Mario Marquez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Club Ibiza walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
