Phillip Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Dekker, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sean Dekker might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip Glerum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sean Dekker ran back to his position shaking his head. Phillip Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Dekker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Bezerra made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wolfgang Amvig. Josef Wortelers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Glerum having to interfere. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Dekker in the 32nd minute of play. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Dhaussy in the 34th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Kaan Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Alzamendi in the 53rd minute of play. Kaan Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Gipuzkoa in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Sean Dekker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talents's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Dekker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter-Jan De Brouwer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kaan Snow firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 64 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Vissenaeckens. After 69 minutes, Antonio Alzamendi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Purple Talents made a substitution. Victorino Lazcano replaced Sean Dekker. Kaan Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 75th minute of play. Purple Talents were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Saco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yu Cheng Kang took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yu Cheng Kang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Phillip Glerum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 79 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Gipuzkoa came free, but Kaan Snow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Purple Talents's Kaan Snow got control of the ball when Peter-Jan De Brouwer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Josef Wortelers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaan Snow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Alzamendi in the 85th minute. Peter-Jan De Brouwer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Kaan Snow when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Dhaussy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Josef Wortelers. Phillip Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Lazcano in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Alzamendi in the 92nd minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phillip Glerum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Purple Talents could leave the field as winners, despite Saco FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
