Rene Vereijt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiktor Filipkowski's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. FC Ouagadougou National's attentive Sergen Şahbender managed to snatch the ball when Martin Bonnici made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Rene Vereijt was a little too slow when Wiktor Filipkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. Rene Vereijt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Filipkowski in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Sielce Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Genzo Wakabayashi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Sielce Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislaw Pruss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Vereijt having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Virgiliu Doroftei came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Ouagadougou National defense, Virgiliu Doroftei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Vereijt. The FC Ouagadougou National fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Vereijt should have stopped the shot.
