Noel Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Rickard Erserman made a precise shot to the right of Noel Braga. Irreal Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Zhuo Xuan Yu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Mattos in the 15th minute. Noel Braga came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman. But to his dismay, Rickard Erserman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Noel Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu got control of the ball when Afonsinho Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonsinho Mattoss short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Zhuo Xuan Yu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rachid Dib made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Inter de Chillán's Tobías Izamit. Barni Irigoyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Braga having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaltino Pirani. Zhuo Xuan Yu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stasys Vaitkus. After the first half Inter de Chillán were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zhuo Xuan Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Mattos in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eladio Araujo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Zhuo Xuan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Inter de Chillán eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
