In the 6th minute, Gafur Dolunay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Andy Cole sped through SvE United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Kleen in the 23rd minute of the match. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Stoichkov in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, SvE United's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Desov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Cole. Andy Cole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tzvetoslav Desov made a huge save. In the 35th minute of the match Floresta Negra FC got a corner. SvE United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Zjawin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Floresta Negra FC's Jerzy Zjawin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tzvetoslav Desov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitko Kozlov, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Tzvetoslav Desov was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Andy Cole capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andy Cole really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 44th minute, one of SvE United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SvE United. Andy Cole shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitko Kozlov to strike the kick off in the second half. Tzvetoslav Desov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Kleen in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Gafur Dolunay got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tzvetoslav Desov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andy Cole went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Andy Cole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Alaba made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jonny Kleen. In the 79th minute, Andy Cole ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tzvetoslav Desov was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 88 minutes into the match, SvE United's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Tzvetoslav Desov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristo Stoichkov got free with Egun Pais in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Gafur Dolunay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when SvE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristo Stoichkov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
