Anastasio Tibalt made a great header on StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's corner, it was just that Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Ashford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademar Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Sporting Clube Patrício's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sporting Clube Patrício's Paulo Assis managed to work through StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Paulo Assis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sporting Clube Patrício made a substitution. Alişan Bağışhan replaced Zeferino Cardoso. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
