To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Modestio to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Ursino during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leo Ursino hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Goi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amadeo Jatsu. That made the score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Cristian Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Jatsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Goi in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Mudquin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mudquin FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
