With a little luck, Konurbano Atletico's Manuel Hernando got control of the ball when Mónico Geller tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Acuña came free, but Manuel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Astrada charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Astrada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marcos Monico hit a great ball. Mónico Geller was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Manuel Hernando came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Edgardo Birjaio. But to his dismay, Edgardo Birjaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Dominguez in the 28th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Silverio Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Ezequiel Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mónico Geller in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Hernando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Hernando made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Edgardo Birjaio sent off a good shot on target. Ezequiel Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mónico Geller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Hernando. That made the score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. Manuel Hernando was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Leo Acuña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leo Acuña really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leo Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Paolo Gilen was substituted for Leo Acuña. Fermin Llorian hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Miguel Gerazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Hernando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Gerazan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Edgardo Birjaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Gogo Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Silverio Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Konurbano Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Gerazan came free, but Manuel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Gerazan in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Konurbano Atletico getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Abelardo Nafarroa hit a great ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Manuel Hernando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Gerazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Hernando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Gerazan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gerazan in the 76th minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Manuel Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Gerazan went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Amadeo Manuelo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. Silverio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Ekhi in the 90th minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Miguel Gerazan made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Hernando was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
