The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Celta de Virgos's Jeremias Fresco got control of the ball when Constantino Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Eustacio Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Fresco was a little too slow when 毛昂宇 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 12 played minutes Islas FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Taurino. In the 14thth minute of the game Diego Erasto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Islas FC's Vicente Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Jeremias Fresco managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Islas FC's Eustacio Inko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Constantino Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Islas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Pueblo couldn't finish the play. Celta de Virgos's Jeremias Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 毛昂宇 in the 22nd minute of play. Vicente Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Erasto in the 23rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Erasto to make the kick off. Celta de Virgos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islas FC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Iraitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Ipar. That made the score 2-2 in the 96 minute of play.
