An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Rayman in the 12th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Astor Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ZORZAL01's Santiago Beti got control of the ball when Everardo Emesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonel Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Everardo Emesto hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's Arturo Normando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Santiago Beti made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nemesio Cordaryal sent off a good shot on target. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Rayman in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute Arturo Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Timoteo Dolcet fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZORZAL01's protests and gave Timoteo Dolcet a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes ZORZAL01 got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Dolcet. Santiago Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timoteo Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Yupandú FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horacio Nevada took the corner. After taking down the ball on ZORZAL01's corner Horacio Nevada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Astor Efren quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Nevada to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Nemesio Cordaryal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yupandú FC and the ZORZAL01 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nemesio Cordaryal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yupandú FC's zone, Cipriano Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Efren came out of the goal and Cipriano Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Daniel Lucado got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Dolcet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Frutos in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Frutos came free, but Santiago Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Efren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lico in the 74th minute of play. After 77 played minutes ZORZAL01 got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Dolcet. Santiago Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Enaut scored 1-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Beti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Marcelino Enaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZORZAL01's Santiago Beti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Normando got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santiago Beti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Santiago Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Santiago Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
