After 2 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Saul Viscarra. Esteban Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulin Buelva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Celino Baños had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Guerrero. Club Deportivo Águila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celino Baños was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Evelio Labiada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celino Baños in the 15th minute of play. If Mariano Oruña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's Evelio Labiada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Guerrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Labiada came free, but Esteban Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Galeas to strike the kick off in the second half. Evelio Labiada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincente Monzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Pérez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Club Deportivo Águila's Esteban Guerrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Águila from getting a goal against them. Iratxo Acosta hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Labiada came free, but Esteban Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Pineda hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Made in Paraguay's Rutenio Bodelon was substituted for Paulin Buelva. Evelio Labiada might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Guerrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Labiada ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Deportivo Águila's Esteban Guerrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Águila from getting a goal against them. Vincente Monzon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Club Deportivo Águila fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Made in Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
