Agnaldo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Pinheiro having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Arthur Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Severo in the 20th minute of play. If Romário Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Ricart Futebol Clube's Elói Donato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romário Vianna. Romário Vianna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Coelho FC's goalkeeper Romário Vianna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romário Pontes. Elói Donato struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Romário Vianna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ricart Futebol Clube. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Marcinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romário Vianna came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ricart Futebol Clube's Romário Pontes. But to his dismay, Romário Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Elói Donato hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Murillo Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elói Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Severo got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eriberto Pinheiro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Romário Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romário Pontes in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agnaldo Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luan Cordeiro. A hard shot 54 in the game by Agnaldo Severo from a close distance when the talented Eriberto Pinheiro managed to make a qualified save. Ricart Futebol Clube's players were relieved. In the 58th minute, Olívio Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Donato in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romário Vianna saved Coelho FC from getting behind. When Elói Donato fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricart Futebol Clube's protests and gave Elói Donato a yellow card for diving instead. Eriberto Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Coelho FC got a corner. Ricart Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hortêncio Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olívio Lara hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Romário Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricart Futebol Clube's protests and gave Romário Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Romário Pontes hit a great ball. Marcinho do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romário Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 90 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luan Cordeiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Romero got free with Eriberto Pinheiro in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Eriberto Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coelho FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coelho FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ricart Futebol Clube.
