André Balada started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Steve Hyuga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Caetano Ponta got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Clóvis Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coritiba Foot Ball Club's protests and gave Clóvis Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Ponta kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Delfim Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delfim Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Caetano Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mundial EC's Raphael Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Mundial EC from getting a goal against them. Raphael Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Machado in the 26th minute of the match. Coritiba Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Mundial EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klei Berson took the corner. In the 32nd minute, Şehzade Tecer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steve Hyuga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Caetano Ponta got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Steve Hyuga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coritiba Foot Ball Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thiago Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Delfim Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro de Sousa in the 60th minute of play. Delfim Dantas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Bengtsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Mundial EC's Delfim Varela was substituted for Şehzade Tecer. Mundial EC's Belmiro Pontes was substituted for Léo Chaves. In the 69th match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Delfim Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Coritiba Foot Ball Club from getting a goal against them. Delfim Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Varela in the 79th minute of the match. Delfim Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Bengtsson in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Senna came free, but Delfim Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Mundial EC's Nils Bengtsson made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Mundial EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coritiba Foot Ball Club.
