Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ubaldo Savion started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Rainerio came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gudesteo could save by the left post. Joaquin Gudesteo was a little too slow when Jesus Rainerio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Joaquin Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jun Misugi in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Karl Schneider got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goalkeeper Joaquin Gudesteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Schneider. Aquilino Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Iratze. After a defensive mix-up in Vampiros Aztecas's zone, Jairo Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Dimo came out of the goal and Jairo Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Oton during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. David Oton hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jun Misugi was the one to do the kick off. Feliciano Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Jun Misugi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gudesteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The Old Boys's Joaquin Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Oton in the 57th minute of play. Joaquin Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jun Misugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Teobaldo Gabon hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Ubaldo Savion in the 68th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Feliciano Dimo's left hand side. After 71 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Lauren. 77 minutes into the game, Karl Schneider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Joaquin Gudesteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Oton struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Joaquin Gudesteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiros Aztecas. In the 88th minute, Jesus Rainerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute David Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Feliciano Dimo managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when The Old Boys's Jairo Lizar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Old Boys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
