The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ got a freekick which was hit by Telo Metou. After a defensive mix-up in ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s zone, Remicio Camposano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernán Albonico came out of the goal and Remicio Camposano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvino Ferreira got free with Fernán Albonico in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvino Ferreira came free, but Fernán Albonico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernán Albonico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvino Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Guesalaga kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Fernán Albonico was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luis Alberto Pradel. After a rather tough play, U.C.MILÁN's Rómulo Maffet got a free kick in the 38th minute. Conrado Ferreira scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Livingstone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sergio Livingstone came out of the goal and Conrado Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Conrado Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the U.C.MILÁN and the ✪ ✪ Barrio Norte FC ✪ ✪ players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see U.C.MILÁN lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
