Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Betonowy in the 28th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Karim Decottignies managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience was convinced that Pastor Ado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Youri Maguet was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Pastor Ado sped through klide13's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Youri Maguet. After 43 played minutes klide13 got a freekick which was hit by Valentyn Lobanovsjkyi. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, klide13's Youri Maguet got control of the ball when Pastor Ado tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 75th minute of play forced klide13's goalkeeper Youri Maguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youri Maguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Tate in the 76th minute of play. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Rat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
