The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Åke Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Andreasson in the 6th minute of the match. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 11th minute of play. Henrik Nykvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Eric Van Lint. With an all-out effort, Vykans Vikingar's Marcos Basso threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Genaro Remicio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 25th minute of play. Genaro Remicio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Marcos Basso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Remicio. Faas Wilkes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Marcos Basso made a huge save. Lars Dahlman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gencer Hisarcık in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Eric Van Lint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Gencer Hisarcık came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Gencer Hisarcık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The corner ended in Ni Zhen Ying almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot did a great save. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faas Wilkes in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes The Shadows's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Berart who took care of the corner kick. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faas Wilkes in the 60th minute of the match. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 67th minute. Marcus Ekrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gencer Hisarcık's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Alessandro Micucci replaced Faas Wilkes. Martin Mutumba hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Gencer Hisarcık tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Genaro Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Andreasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Alessandro Micucci notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of The Shadows's Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Shadows's Isak Andberg was substituted for Niklas Lundqvist. Herbert Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vykans Vikingar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Shadows for a fine match.
