Baltasar Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Dewaele in the 31st minute of the match. Fabrício Lopess short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got 龙剑宽 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabrício Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but 龙剑宽 made a huge save. After 44 minutes Valette Stars's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hafız Öztekin who took care of the corner kick. Mario Dewaele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrício Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. Shao Kun Yuan got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fabrício Lopes. Valette Stars's 龙剑宽 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 61st minute of play. VB-Team made a substitution. Arthur Guerra replaced Sandro Leitão. Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine was substituted for Mario Dewaele. Guillaume Chaine who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Baltasar Matias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valette Stars's Fabian Walme managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shao Kun Yuan in the 81 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafız Öztekin in the 84th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper 龙剑宽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute of the match VB-Team got a corner. Valette Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romain Ferrere helped the player get up and apologised. The Valette Stars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valette Stars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
