In the 12thth minute of the game Östen Hedin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Baltasar Matias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Lopes. In the 17thth minute of the game Silviu Novac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Baltasar Matias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brazilio Butt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervásio Severiano's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of VB-Team booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Drew didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Silviu Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Hafız Öztekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Östen Hedin in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's Tanek Bobrowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Matias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silviu Novac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Baltasar Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Leal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Mei Jie Feng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Matias skillfully saved the ball. Brazilio Butt made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fabrício Lopes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Dan Verhoeven got a free kick in the 38th minute. Hafız Öztekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Novac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tanek Bobrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 72nd minute of the match VB-Team got a corner. DIF LEEDS BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hafız Öztekin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on VB-Team's corner Hafız Öztekin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brazilio Butt quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute Fabrício Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 78th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Hafız Öztekin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Brazilio Butt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Gervásio Severiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brazilio Butt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
