Thanks to some nice moves Arnaud Konieczny could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Roland Delbridge however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute, Norbert Cadart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norbert Cadart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Roland Delbridge made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Herblay's Arnaud Konieczny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Delbridge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Herblay got a corner. Los Muchachos del 86's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitri Bougault ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dimitri Bougault almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Tristan Vicente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Herblay had won after a very even match.
