After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Torgny Landin made the kick off in the second half. Morgan Vassenius made in the 50th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Börna Bulldogs's Kent Sandström. Torgny Landin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Torgny Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Börna Bulldogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Landin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
