The audience was convinced that Edgardo Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maria Gibon was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 8th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maria Gibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. I-Made 王磊奕 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jeremy Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maria Gibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maria Gibon came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tony Pacheco. But to his dismay, Tony Pacheco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from I-Made 王磊奕, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, WiTeK TeAm's goal looked a bit too open when Alperen Öksüz came free, but Maria Gibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tymoteusz Jajko was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in WiTeK TeAm's zone, Tony Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maria Gibon came out of the goal and Tony Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Hipolito Emenon put in a rough tackle. In the 58th minute, one of New England Minas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New England Minas. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for WiTeK TeAm. I-Made 王磊奕 stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeremy Nicholas. 2-1. New England Minas made a substitution. Emmitt Benson replaced Alperen Öksüz. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from I-Made 王磊奕, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
