Kristian Tomasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caco Azevedo having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Gil Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gil Cearense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bestone 716's Zein Mahayasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Maraman came free, but Caco Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Fábio Luz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Zein Mahayasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Iwanowski went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. FC Bestone 716:s Zein Mahayasa showed great skill when he stopped Gil Cearense:s penalty.
