Bernard Kasprzak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Claes Nordmark made a huge save. Claes Nordmark came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Edward Lampa. But to his dismay, Edward Lampa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ksawery Kiepski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Åke Willig's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Newcastle United's Bernard Kasprzak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claes Nordmark. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Stefan Wiberg charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The tension between the AFC Eskilstuna and the Newcastle United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claes Nordmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Wawrzyniec Bator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes AFC Eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Malmgren. Claes Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Kasprzak in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Newcastle United's Bernard Kasprzak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claes Nordmark. Claes Nordmark yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. With a little luck, AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark got control of the ball when Bernard Kasprzak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Bernard Kasprzak could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Claes Nordmark however easily saved by the left post. Claes Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Traczewski in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Bernard Kasprzak lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Claes Nordmark. Beniamin Traczewski scored 7-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claes Nordmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th play minute Edward Lampa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claes Nordmark. 8-0. Claes Nordmark made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Edward Lampa sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The wind increased when Rolf Ekström made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Edward Lampa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, AFC Eskilstuna's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Kasprzak came free, but Claes Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Lampa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Johan Mellin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Eskilstuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. In the 59th minute, Johan Mellin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the AFC Eskilstuna defense, Beniamin Traczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claes Nordmark. The AFC Eskilstuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claes Nordmark should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Remigiusz Wodaszak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Nordmark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 70th minute of the game Hieronim Rasimowicz made a throw-in which Beniamin Traczewski played forward. In the 75th minute Nils-Åke Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Newcastle United's Edward Lampa in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Eskilstuna's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Edward Lampa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Lampa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Lampa in the 81st minute of the match. Claes Nordmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Wodaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claes Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Traczewski in the 86th minute of play. Hieronim Rasimowicz made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Beniamin Traczewski. In the 90th minute Edward Lampa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Edward Lampa made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Nordmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, AFC Eskilstuna's Torgny Trulsson got a free kick in the 96th minute. Newcastle United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
