After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, Aquilino Derwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Chapui. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Chapui should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute James Joyner suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Vargas during the 23rd minute. Ian Chapui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's D.J. Hankins got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Aquilino Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Chapui was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shane Smiley was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Esteban Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ex Inferis's Casimiro Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Worthington in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keenan Worthington in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Ignatius saved Ex Inferis from getting behind. Esteban Guillelmo made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aquilino Derwin. Ex Inferis's Casimiro Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Worthington in the 65th minute of play. Aquilino Derwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Chapui having to make a save. Celedonio Ponce in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ian Chapui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Roberto Soldado was substituted for Keenan Worthington. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Arthur Sousa was substituted for Shane Smiley. Ex Inferis's Bernabe Senio was substituted for Silvério Vargas. In the 76th match minute, Ex Inferis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Senio to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Parr struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. When Ex Inferis's Aquilino Derwin in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. The Ex Inferis players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Racing Miami Futbol Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
