Xelo Fernandes didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 21st minute. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Zé Carlos Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xelo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes in the game Bittor Adarzo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vimaro Serans. Florencio Iturrate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 40th minute, Ferenc Puskás ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Iturrate was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Thierry Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florencio Iturrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ferenc Puskás made the kick off in the second half. Thierry Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Iturrate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Pragmáticos 1903's Ferenc Puskás ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florencio Iturrate. Florencio Iturrate yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. With a little luck, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Florencio Iturrate got control of the ball when Thierry Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Thierry Henry put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Florencio Iturrate. 68 minutes into the game, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Radamel-Falcao García nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Carlos Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Erramun Cepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ had been in control for most of the match, Pragmáticos 1903 still came away with the win.
