Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Acácio Neto started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Silvinho Veiga threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Acácio Neto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edson Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Tinoco in the 6th minute of the match. Egídio Tinoco scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edson Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Edson Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Tinoco in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Egídio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Acácio Neto sped through Capivariano F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvinho Veiga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Tinoco in the 21st minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Edson Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Neto to maneuver through the defense. Fiori de Lara, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 25 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Almeida. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Váldson Alagoano got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Fiori de Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Bertassi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Abel de Barros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Tinoco in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Egídio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capivariano F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Tinoco in the 43rd minute of play. Fiori de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd play minute Egídio Tinoco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edson Bertassi. 2-2. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Edson Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Tinoco in the 59th minute of play. When Olgierd Koperski came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Capivariano F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Koperski couldn't finish the play. Capivariano F.C. made a substitution. Enrique Domingues replaced Egídio Tinoco. Carrapichel - FDFDF made a substitution. Gualter Paraibano replaced Dráuzio Meirelles. The crowd rose to their feet as Capivariano F.C.'s Enrique Domingues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edson Bertassi. That made the score 2-3 after 69 minutes of play. Beto Cavalcante made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kléberson Camargo immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acácio Neto during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Neto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Capivariano F.C.'s zone, Kléberson Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvinho Veiga came out of the goal and Kléberson Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
