In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club 23's goalkeeper Remus Vuia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute Alin Chiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 39 minutes on the clock, Florin Martin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. FC Acatar:s Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed great skill when he stopped Ragnar Lönn:s penalty. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Chiru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Remicio in the 45th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Chiru came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alin Chiru in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Vuia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club 23 made a substitution. Niculae Cângea replaced Qu Yan Nan. Club 23 were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after FC Acatar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niculae Cângea took the corner. Niculae Cângea made a great header on Club 23's corner, it was just that FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Constantin Bâlea hit a great ball.
