Luis Bastia had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Garin Cañizares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cordara Conde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Refugio in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Jose Refugio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cordara Conde. Jose Refugio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. 37 minutes into the match, Teofilo Izel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cordara Conde, 4-1. When Jose Refugio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupandú FC's protests and gave Jose Refugio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Jose Refugio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luis Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garin Cañizares, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The wind increased when Garin Cañizares made the kick off in the second half. After 68 minutes of play, CON-E-CO's Carlomagno Agüero made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Bastia was a little too slow when Gustau Godoy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 5-3.
