After 4 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Efe Topdemir. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes in the game Loco Durazno did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bebben Johansson. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Efe Topdemir in the 12th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Scarpa scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loco Durazno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Gruchacz having to make a save. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo Scarpa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anders Lundqvist. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Loco Durazno took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Gruchacz. Borys Gruchacz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 43rd minute, Loco Durazno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. İbrahim Efe Topdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Scarpa made a kick off. In the 55th minute İbrahim Efe Topdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Topdemir came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Durazno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Borys Gruchacz made a huge save.
