Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Mello in the 12th minute of the match. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Karlo. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guga Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ got a corner. Mexilhão F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dawid Beckham made a great header on Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's corner, it was just that Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares managed to reach the ball for a save. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Angelsø in the 21st minute of play. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Aureliano Karlo could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Guga Tavares however easily saved by the left post. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Karlo got free with Guga Tavares in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guga Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 30th minute of the match. When Mexilhão F. C.'s Tony Angelsø in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalie prevented a goal. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guga Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Guga Tavares made a huge save. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Christoff Stocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Angelsø to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guga Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Gaspar made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Germano Siqueira however managed to control. Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Gaspar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 68th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. If Julien Staffelbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 80th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ademar Gaspar hit a great ball. Guga Tavares came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach. But to his dismay, Julien Staffelbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
