After 8 played minutes, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Rodolfo Cordero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Naboonga Wild Katt FC reached it. Cristiano Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Nacional's Stuart Mayo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Silban in the 20th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nacional's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Iaki was slow to take the kick. During this time Naboonga Wild Katt FC's players had a chance to rest. Cristiano Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Montrell in the 26th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristiano Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Silban in the 34th minute of play. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Silban, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Morrison to make the kick off. Jim Morrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cristiano Aveiro made a huge save. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Quentin Francis was substituted for Jim Morrison. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Francis in the 76th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Xu Sha. Cristiano Aveiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Francis in the 92nd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
