After having played for 42 minutes, Niceto Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valle Saron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Arixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valle Saron's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofil Kornasiewicz in the 47th minute. The corner led Valle Saron's Teofil Kornasiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Ksawery Witkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Magallanes made a substitution. Peio Raggio replaced Juan Mondaca. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianfranco Saron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gianfranco Saron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ksawery Witkowski. The goal made the score 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Chumo Salces managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valle Saron's supporters rose to their feet, but Chumo Salces was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ksawery Witkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chumo Salces received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ksawery Witkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ksawery Witkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Arixo in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski got control of the ball when Arí Saron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peio Raggio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Saron. Emiliano Saron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Magallanes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
