In the 3rd match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Placido Gilabert got a free kick in the 13th minute. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Silvestre Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daugirdas Vitkus in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Silvestre Natanael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB defense, Daugirdas Vitkus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Natanael. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Natanael should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Palestra14 booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Daugirdas Vitkus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Silvestre Natanael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daugirdas Vitkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Kråk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohieddine Ayari in the 38th minute of the match. Cirilo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvestre Natanael came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra14's Daugirdas Vitkus. But to his dismay, Daugirdas Vitkus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Palestra14 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohieddine Ayari was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Silvestre Natanael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Palestra14's zone, Mohieddine Ayari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Kråk came out of the goal and Mohieddine Ayari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palestra14's Florian Cardella was substituted for Christian Berardini. Palestra14's Jack Black was substituted for Fedele Causio. 68 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Mohieddine Ayari came free, but Arne Kråk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Åkerman in the 73rd minute of play. Silvestre Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Åkerman in the 77th minute of the match. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB made a substitution. Octavio Froylan replaced Cirilo Arlo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Cisek in the 89th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Silvestre Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palestra14's Slawomir Cisek got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palestra14's performance. The match ended with a win for Palestra14.
