After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Benet Amorebieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Kajfasz came out of the goal and Benet Amorebieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Dombroski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Marian Kajfasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Benet Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Kajfasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Wojciech Domala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pogoń Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Drinkers Sanok the free kick. In the 45th minute, Wojciech Domala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The throw-in from Teobald Borczak in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dark Drinkers Sanok's Matty Cash. Stanislaw Drapinski kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Benet Amorebieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Kajfasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Javier Zanetti got a free kick in the 56th minute. Szymon Naskrent hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Benet Amorebieta scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Kajfasz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marian Kajfasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benet Amorebieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Kajfasz was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Benet Amorebieta came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Dark Drinkers Sanok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benet Amorebieta couldn't finish the play. Benet Amorebieta took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Kajfasz. Marian Kajfasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Benet Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marian Kajfasz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Drinkers Sanok. Benet Amorebieta took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Kajfasz. Marian Kajfasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Marian Kajfasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benet Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benet Amorebieta took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Kajfasz. Marian Kajfasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
